Devin Shoecraft handles a variety of litigation matters in both state and federal courts. Devin’s practice is primarily focused on personal lines, commercial and casualty insurance coverage disputes, insurance and real estate professional liability claims, and consumer protection laws. Devin also has experience with environmental clean-up cost-recovery litigation, including issues of public agency oversight. As liability defense counsel, Devin defends a variety of personal injury, automobile accident, premises liability, and unfair competition claims. Devin’s clients include both insurers and insureds, insurance and real estate agents and brokers and other professionals, automobile dealers and consumers, banks and lenders, real estate developers, and landlords and tenants.

Devin specializes in obtaining early, favorable outcomes for clients through pretrial law and motion practice and alternative dispute resolution. Devin is a San Diego native. He is a UC Santa Cruz alumnus, and received his JD from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2007 before returning home to Southern California. When he is not at work advocating on behalf of his clients, Devin enjoys sailing on Mission Bay with his family.
